Development of Curriculum Vitae and skills needed for job interviews for students and young graduates that have no experience in the labour market’(Resource ID: 311)

Students will learn how to be prepared for their first entrance into the labour market, and how to be able to show their knowledge received during studies. Usually when the recent graduates enter the labour market there are some limitations since they do not have prior experience , young graduates have some lack of skills that are needed to enter the labour market , therefore through this module they will have an opportunity to develop those skills and have an easier entrance into labour market . Using this technique the unemployment will decrease, which is also relevant to sustainability in developing economies .

There is a high level of unemployment in the region, and the highest is among the young population, The main challenge that the senior students have and young graduates, are when they enter the labour market . Through this module students will be able to learn how to develop their own biographies even though they have minimum experience, and they will also learn how to develop the basic skills that are needed for job interviews .

The two step process is aimed at learning practical know how, through active learning, case studies , simulations and role playing job interviews.

The first step will be through the transfer of knowledge from the lecturer about what the CV should contain depending on the job they are applying for, and learning how to develop the CV. The Second step will be developed through simulations, role play through the transfer of knowledge from the lecturer about what the CV should contain, depending on the job that they are applying for they will share how an interview takes place and most common questions.

Integration of Social Stakeholders
Small Enterprises and NGO’s will collaborate with students on this module and they will act as active partners, Small enterprises will benefit in the learning of the management of human resources and choosing the right employees. They will also be able to learn what they offer in the labour market from the fresh and creative young graduates from meeting with them directly. This module can be developed through the office for development in the University or directly with the stakeholder that will be involved as NGOs or Small Businesses.

2 days (4 hours to work with students on how to prepare the CV, 4 hours to work with NGOs and students on interviews , 4 hours to work with students simulating interviews) Preparation of the lectures - 6 hours, preparation of the case study - 4 hours, identifying small businesses that seek young professionals, one part can be also developed through career office in UNHZ.
