The project describes the consultations that can be made with the students so that they in connection with agricultural business, organic farms, can improve environmental management. The project will be implemented by the staff in cooperation with the organic business community, based on the Albanian legislation for organic farming (Law nr.9199, dated 26.02.2004 "On the production, processing, certification and marketing of organic products"), European directives (Authorized by the rate of Directive (EEC) no. Directive 2092/91 and (EEC) nr.834 / 2007), UNI EN ISO 14001:2004.
The resource set consists of 3 directions:
– Active learning and live consultancy I - Confirmation of the scope of the work: The student together with the agricultural organic farm will develop a work plan with the aim of obtaining the output of this collaboration and can set an agreement between the students and staff of farm (farm owner, factory staff, environmental and senior management)
– Active learning and live consultancy II- Field study: The students will interview identified farm organic staff, and collect and analyse data related to present the environmental and societal impacts of organic farming to the environment.
– Active learning and live consultancy III - Reporting and presentation: After conducting and analysing the data, the students will prepare results and recommendations for the organic farm. Besides a report, they will also present the results and recommendations to the organic farms and their owners.
