Sustainicum Collection v.2.0

The new version of the Sustainicum Collection is online! After months of restructuring and facelifting, the online platform for ESD teaching resources now provides many enhanced features such as full text keyword and filter search engine, that will make your visit even more enjoyable. We wish you a pleasant stay!

SUSTAINABILITY AWARD

The Federal Ministry of Science Research and Economy and the Austrian Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management celebrated the Sustainability Award 2014. 32 Universities, Colleges of higher education, private Universities and Colleges of Education submitted 82 initiatives and projects in 8 different fields of activity. The Sustainicum Collection won the category "Regional Cooperation".

RCE RECOGNITION AWARD

Within the scope of the RCE Recognition Award, the United Nations University awarded the project Sustainicum as "Outstanding Flagship Project" at the Global RCE Conference in Nairobi, Kenia. The committee emphasized the projects "contribution to the integration of sustainability into higher education curriculum through innovative teaching resources and methodologies".

UNESCO AWARD

The Jury of the Austrian Agency for Education for Sustainable Development of the Austrian UNESCO-Committee has nominated and voted our project Sustainicum for the Austrian Decade Project Award. The Award will be submitted in December 2013. The Sustainicum team of the BOKU-Vienna, KFU-Graz and TU-Graz would like to thank for this great appreciation!

Nachhaltiges Österreich

Vom 4. - 10. Oktober nimmt SUSTAINICUM an den "Aktionstagen Nachhaltigkeit" teil!

Die „Aktionstage Nachhaltigkeit“ wurden von den NachhaltigkeitskoordinatorInnen aller Bundesländer und dem Lebensministerium ins Leben gerufen, um die Vielfalt der AkteurInnen und ihrer Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten zu illustrieren. Gemeinsam mit einer Vielzahl von PartnerInnen aus dem zivilgesellschaftlichen, öffentlichen und privaten Bereich wollen die „Aktionstage Nachhaltigkeit“ die Tatkraft der AkteurInnen im Bereich der Nachhaltigen Entwicklung in Österreich sichtbar machen.
